THE GREAT SANTA RUN 5K

The 15th annual Great Santa Run 5K is a great way to celebrate the holiday season while supporting Operation Breakthrough, one of Kansas City's favorite charities. We are excited to hold the race at a NEW SITE at Park Place in Leawood (11549 Ash Street) and we will once again offer great finishers medals to all participants and a great kids run to all of the Lil' Elves! Participants in the 5k can add a long sleeve event shirt for $8.

PACKET PICKUP
Packet pickup will be held on Friday, December 13 at The Running Well Store at at 200 East 135th Street in KCMO from 3pm to 6pm and on Saturday, December 14 from 10am to 1pm at the Running Well Store at 6009 Johnson Drive in Mission, KS. Leftovers from packet pickup will be taken to the race site and can be picked up on race day beginning at 7am. If you do not pick up your shirt and medal at packet pickup or at the event, there is no guarantee that we will have a race shirt in your size after that point.

AGE GROUPS:
Awards will be given to first, second and third males and females in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Results will be posted at the registration site. You can also sign up to get a text message with your results when you register.
CHARITY PARTNER
The mission of Operation Breakthrough is to help children who are living in poverty develop to their fullest potential by providing them a safe, loving and educational environment. Operation Breakthrough also strives to support and empower the children's families through advocacy, referral services and emergency aid. A portion of the proceeds from registration fees and 100% of meal ticket sales will be donated to Operation Breakthrough.
In addition, we ask each registrant to be a Santa and bring a $10 unopened, unwrapped toy to be given to local children at Operation Breakthrough. Each toy donor will receive a raffle ticket for each toy donated and the drawing for raffle prizes will take place after the race.
