Join us in Martin City for a new fall tradition, the Martin City Wine Run 5K! We are partnering with Rosehill Winery for a fun new event for wine lovers and those who love to run!

Saturday, October 4 from 10am to 2pm at The Running Well Store at 200 E 135th Street KCMO

If you don't pick up your shirt at packet pickup or at the race, there is no guarantee that your size will be available after the race.
AWARDS
The Top Overall Male and Female and Top Masters Male and Female (40+) finishers will receive an award

AGE GROUPS
Awards will be given to first, second and third males and females in each age group: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

CHARITY PARTNER
Proceeds of the 2024 Oktoberfest 5k will benefit The International Dyslexia Association's (IDA) Kansas and Missouri Branch. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping teachers, individuals with dyslexia, their families, and the communities that support them. We also offer reading scholarships for students and teacher training scholarships for teachers. IDA actively promotes effective teaching approaches and related clinical research and or/ educational intervention strategies for those with dyslexia. We facilitate the exploration of the causes and early identification of dyslexia and are committed to the responsible and wide dissemination of research-based knowledge. The mission of the Kansas-Missouri branch IDA is to give students with dyslexia a better learning experience through teacher training and scholarships, parent support, and student empowerment.
